Bill has direct involvement in nearly all of ARM’s landfill projects including siting, expansion, permitting, design, construction oversight, and closure of residual, municipal, and hazardous waste landfills. Mr. Tafuto is the Engineer-of-Record for more than 100 landfill projects, permit applications, and construction certification submissions. He has testified as an expert before the Pennsylvania Environmental Hearing Board in landfill harms/benefits cases and for Hearing Boards and Legislative Hearings in Maryland. Mr. Tafuto holds professional engineering licenses in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, West Virginia, North Carolina, Massachusetts, and Vermont and has more than 24 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and solid waste management engineering. He graduated from Bucknell University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1988 and earned an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Drexel University in 1994.
