Bios
Mr. Farrington and is a senior technical director on remediation, brownfield redevelopment, and solid waste projects.
He is also in charge of business development for the firm, He is a Professional Geologist, licensed in Pennsylvania
and Wisconsin, and he is a licensed Subsurface Evaluator in New Jersey. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in
Geology from Lehigh University in 1983.
In his 25 years as an environmental consultant, Mr. Farrington
has developed and implemented groundwater monitoring, assessment and remediation programs for more than 100 landfill, industrial,
and leaking underground storage tank (UST) sites. He has directly overseen projects for the permitting, monitoring, design,
and/or closure of at least 20 solid and/or hazardous waste facilities. He is heavily involved in Brownfield site remediation
and redevelopment, and has consulted on hundreds of commercial and industrial real estate transactions. He has
also provided litigation support and expert testimony regarding environmental cleanups, landfills, home heating oil spills,
groundwater studies, and contaminant vapor intrusion to residences.
Mr. Farrington has served the past
year as President of the Pennsylvania Council of Professional Geologists (PCPG), and serves on the Board of Directors for
the Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC), and the South Eastern Economic Development Company of PA (SEEDCo).
He has also been an active volunteer in several non-profit organizations in the Chester County region.
Paul White, P.G., PrincipalMr. White is in charge of operations for the firm. He is a Professional Geologist (P.G.), licensed in
Pennsylvania and Delaware, with 22 years of experience in the environmental consulting field. He earned a Bachelor of
Science degree in Geology from Allegheny College.
Mr. White has broad technical expertise, with an emphasis
on water resource management. His experience includes groundwater quality and quantity assessments, Act 2 cleanups,
groundwater mounding and nitrate loading analyses for land application of wastewater, stormwater infiltration and mounding
analyses, and hydrogeologic studies for landfills and quarries. Mr. White has provided expert testimony in local municipal
hearings and before the Environmental Hearing Board. He has also worked closely with the Pennsylvania Home Builders
Association (HBA), consulting on environmental affairs; and served on the Pennsylvania DEP's advisory committee for development
of a Best Management Practices Manual for Stormwater Management across the Commonwealth. He continues to represent the
HBA and PCPG to promote stormwater management using "good science", rather than the one-size-fits-all approach promoted
by others.
Donna Luongo Savastio, Principal
Ms. Savastio is the company's Director of Finance and Administration. In her 25 years with the firm, she has implemented,
managed, and significantly upgraded the firm's administrative and financial management processes. She works closely
with our employees, clients, and vendors to encourage effective and ongoing communications, with improved budget and schedule
control. She has special skills in reducing costs and improving productivity through implementation of new procedures, systems,
and information flow.
Ms. Savastio is also in charge of Risk Management for the firm. She solicits and
manages service contracts, insurance coverage, and management training. Her efforts help to minimize clients' and employees'
liabilities, while allowing creative opportunities for growth
