Location: St. Davids Golf Club, Pennsylvania
Brickhouse Environmental designed and permitted the construction of two adjacent irrigation ponds totaling 2.5 million gallons of capacity. The ponds are utilized for the temporary storage of pumped groundwater prior to irrigation of the St. David’s Golf Course. Based on confirmatory borings, it was necessary to line these ponds to prevent loss of water through infiltration. Brickhouse Environmental also engineered subsurface drainage improvements to address ponded water issues between three fairways, as well as permitted stream bank stabilization adjacent to a fairway.
